I’ve always been a helper. Right from a wee little age straight through now. However, I always thought that meant I had to do direct patient care. Nursing, Vet Tech, animal handling. But when I burnt out and pivot into a small health and wellness pet store, that was where I really started to shine. Using innovative ideas to help elevate the pet store to have a wider reach I built a website with e-commerce capabilities, got the social media booming and re-vamped the administrative workflow so things ran smoothly. All while learning all about the pet industry and helping pet parents get their fur baby on the right track with species appropriate feeding, supplementation and even enrichment ideas to help alleviate the days where a destructive puppy is just too much.
And that led me to where I am today.
